Today, on April 8, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted a dialogue platform for students "Save your mental health." The speaker was Natalia Gromova, Deputy Director for Ideological Work at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health.

At the beginning, the speaker emphasized that taking care of the mental state is a personal responsibility of each person. She named family, friends, and professional fulfillment as the main pillars for maintaining internal stability. The students actively participated in the discussion, shared their opinions and asked questions.

During the conversation, the speaker drew the children's attention to the problem of self-doubt and distorted perception of self-worth.
— It is very easy to go into a state of doubt and uncertainty when it seems that you are "not enough" in something. But it always involves comparing yourself to others. At the same time, each person has their own strengths and unique qualities, — Natalia Vladimirovna emphasized.

The participants paid special attention to the topic of suicidal behavior. The students talked about the reasons why a person can lose the meaning of life, and how important it is not to stay away if someone is going through a difficult period. The speaker noted the importance of timely contacting specialists and the role of support from loved ones.

At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed simple but effective practices for preserving internal resources: the ability to switch, record even small achievements, and form the habit of supporting oneself.
