On March 19, 2026, third-year students of the "Customs", accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs of FMTG, Anastasia Zhevlakova, participated in the intellectual tournament “Best Future Customs Officer” at the State Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel of Customs Bodies of the Republic of Belarus. The students competed for the title of the best against teams from Belarusian State University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, and Brest State Technical University.
At the first stage, each team needed to talk about their educational institution and department and to imagine the topic "We are the future of customs."

The next round took place in the format of a blitz poll. Students tested their knowledge of the history and modern state of customs affairs.
Participants answered questions about customs procedures, forms of control, and the rules for moving goods for personal use across the border within the framework of the round "Customs Control: What? Where? When?"

The second part of the event took place in the format of a masterclass from the canine service of the customs. The abilities of dogs to detect concealed narcotic substances, as well as the specifics of their training, were demonstrated.
We congratulate the students on their commendable performance and thank the State Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel of Customs Bodies of the Republic of Belarus for providing the opportunity to acquaint students with the work of the customs authorities and to deepen their knowledge in various areas!
