Engineering Classes, Targeted Training, and Youth Schools: PSF Hosts Open Day

Инженерные классы, целевая подготовка и «школы юных». На ПСФ прошел день открытых дверей

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, an open day was held at the Faculty of Instrument Engineering. The event was attended by students of various educational institutions: secondary school № 15 Baranovichi, gymnasium № 1 Baranovichi (engineering class), secondary schools № 191 and 140 of Minsk, gymnasiums in Dzerzhinsk, secondary school № 9 Borisov and secondary school № 2 d. Pit of Minsk district.

The meeting was led by the Associate Deans, Igor Servachinsky and Sergey Monich. The heads of departments addressed the guests: Roman Vorobey (Department of Information and Measurement Equipment and Technologies), Alexander Malyarevich (Department of Laser Technology and Engineering), and Andrey Savchenko (Department of Instrument Design and Manufacturing). Representatives also spoke about their specific areas, including Dmitry Balokhonov, Associate Professor at the Department of Micro and Nanoengineering; Maxim Gomma, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Standardization, Metrology, and Information Systems; Sergey Borisyonok, Assistant at the Department of Information and Measurement Equipment and Technologies; as well as department engineers Daniil Syomin, Yana Kolyadko, and Natalya Petritskaya.

Excursions were organized for the guests in Building 17, where they visited the laboratories of all the faculty's departments. A total of 28 people took part in the event.

During the event, the students actively asked questions about admission requirements, opportunities for targeted training, and document submission deadlines.
