On February 21, 2026, students from the Preparatory Department of the Faculty of International Cooperation (FIC) visited the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex as part of the celebration of Defenders of the Fatherland and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Belarus.
The students were impressed by the variety of exhibits and saw the famous T-34 tanks and self-propelled artillery units.
The celebration culminated in two large-scale reenactments. The first was an episode from the 1942 Battle of Moscow, dedicated to the heroic tank crews. The second was a battle from the Afghan War, "Blockpost," in memory of the Heroes of the Soviet Union. The battles, involving rare equipment, left the future engineers deeply impressed.
"We don't have anything like this in our country: history coming to life right before our eyes, with technology and pyrotechnics. It's a complete immersion!" the students shared their impressions.
For BNTU international students, the trip to the Stalin Line was more than just a tour; it was a vibrant introduction to the history and culture of the country where they now live and study. The tour, conducted in Russian, was accessible to all and helped them better understand Belarus's heroic past.
