On November 11, negotiations with the delegation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar took place at the Belarusian National Technical University. Issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Polytechnic and Myanmar universities were discussed.

The negotiations were attended by the Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Moe Kyaw Tu, the consular attaché Win Naing Oo, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik and Head of the Department of International Marketing, Educational Services, and International Student Affairs at the Faculty of International Cooperation Irina Khatskevich.


At the beginning of the meeting, Yuri Nikolaichik introduced the guests to the Belarusian National Technical University. He provided a detailed overview of the university’s history, structure, and international activities.

During the negotiations, the main topic was the establishment of promising areas of cooperation between BNTU and universities in Myanmar. Each party expressed its opinion on potential formats of joint work and suggested promising areas.
