Today, September 24, a delegation from Jiangxi Province, China, was received at the BNTU Science and Technology Park “Polytechnic”. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss cooperation in education, scientific research, and joint training for students at the province's universities.
The delegation included Wang Yong, Deputy Chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Education Committee; Chen Jun, Head of the Planning and Development Department of the Education Committee of Jiangxi Province; Yu Xin, Director of the Institute of International Education at Nanchang Aviation University; Yang Chaoxing, Party Committee Secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Vocational Institute of Arts; Wan Xiaobo, Party Committee Secretary and Rector of the Jiangxi Provincial Vocational Institute of Industry and Commerce; Yang Zhi, Professor at Henan University; Liu Guangqing, Representative of the International Confederation of Creative Unions; and Damir Mukhametov, Associate Professor at Henan University.
The Belarusian delegation was represented by Yuri Nikolaychik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation; Alexei Danilchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship; Irina Shvets, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Tatyana Chistova, Head of the Department of Highways; Vladimir Grechukhin, Head of the Department of Bridges and Tunnels; Alexandra Zverko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology; and Svetlana Pankova, Deputy Director General for Development and Strategic Planning of the BNTU Scientific and Technological Park “Polytechnic”.
The delegation was given a traditional tour of the exhibition space of the BNTU Scientific and Technological Park “Polytechnic”, which showcases the park's innovative developments in various fields.
During the talks, Yuri Nikolaychik provided a detailed account of the activities of the Belarusian National Technical University, highlighting existing programs with other countries. This formed the basis for discussing cooperation in education, scientific research, and joint training for students at the province's universities.
After all pressing issues had been discussed, the Chinese delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, and the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
