"One-two-three, one-two-three...". Students' Christmas Ball was held at BNTU

«Раз-два-три, раз-два-три…». Рождественский бал студентов прошел в БНТУ

Yesterday, December 19, 2024, the traditional Christmas students' ball was held in the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University. The organizers were the primary trade union organization of BNTU students and the Department of Culture.

The ball gathered in one place more than 90 talented and active young men and women who actively participated in the cultural and social life of the university.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!"  After these words of the hosts, graceful music did not stop in the hall, which made even the most modest repeat simple waltz squares. But first things first.

The ball began with the entrance of its participants. After the announcement of the polonaise, the couples whirled in a dance and set a festive atmosphere for the holiday.

To open the ball, the rector of BNTU Sergey Kharitonchik was invited to the microphone. He greeted everyone present, thanked the students for their active social activities and wished them a pleasant evening.

Good evening, dear friends! I am glad to welcome you to our celebration. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the ball – the primary trade union organization of students and the Department of Cultural Affairs, who created a truly fabulous atmosphere today.

This year, BNTU turned 104 years old, and despite this respectable age, our university is still filled with young, beautiful and cheerful people who bring a large number of achievements to the university every year and continue its glorious traditions.

Approaching the magical holiday of the New Year, it is necessary to sum up the results of the outgoing year. First of all, I would like to thank our youth, including student teams, who have made a colossal contribution to the development of BNTU and our country as a whole. Many of our students are actively involved in scientific activities, successfully presenting their ideas and projects at national and international competitions. I am also sincerely proud of our foreign students, who speak warmly of BNTU and show excellent academic results.

On the eve of the New Year, I sincerely want to wish you health, fulfillment of desires, achieving goals and successful completion of the winter session. The management of BNTU highly appreciates your efforts. Help improve our university, invent and reach new educational and creative heights. Happy holiday to all!
