"Battle of Faculties – 2024": results

Yesterday, on October 11, the final games and the closing ceremony of the largest sports competition of the Polytechnic University – "Battles of Faculties – 2024" took place.

For reference: during its existence, the sporting event has acquired the status of a legendary event on a university scale. It was traditionally organized by the primary trade union organization of BNTU students with the support of the rector's office and the BNTU sports club.

The competitions were held in six disciplines: mini-football, Ready for Work and Defense standards, volleyball, tug-of-war, streetball and swimming. Without keeping the intrigue, we will tell you how the prize places were distributed in the competitions of this "Battle".

Swimming:

• First place – Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics;
• Second place – Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship;
• Third place – Faculty of Energy.

Volleyball:

• First place – Faculty of Energy Construction;
• Second place – Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics;
• Third place – Automotive and Tractor Faculty.

Mini football:

• First place – Faculty of Sports Engineering;
• Second place – Faculty of Civil Engineering;
• Third place –F aculty of Mining and Environmental Ecology.

RWD standards (RWD - a "benchmark" of physical fitness that allows you to evaluate a person's physical abilities: strength, endurance, coordination, speed, flexibility):

• First place – Faculty of Transport Communications;
• Second place – Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship;
• Third place – Faculty of Architecture.

Streetball:

• First place – Faculty of Instrument Engineering;
• Second place – Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship;
• Third place –  Automotive and Tractor Faculty.

Tug of War:

• First place – Faculty of Civil Engineering;
• Second place – Faculty of Instrument Engineering;
• Third place – Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship.

In addition, the best cheerleading was chosen. The fans of the Faculty of Transport Communications supported their athletes more brightly, and most importantly, louder than the rest.

In the team competition, the places were distributed as follows:

• First place – Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship;
• Second place –  Faculty of Transport Communications;
• Third place –   Faculty of Civil Engineering.
