Today, 29 May, a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Belarus was held in the Science and Technology Park of BNTU "Polytechnik".
The foreign delegation included Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Gyuchlo Cem Yshik and Education Counsellor Fatih Kuzu. On the part of the Belarusian National Technical University, the meeting was attended by Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Work Yuri Nikolaychik, and Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel.
The visit began with a tour of the Technopark's exhibition hall. General Director of the enterprise Georgiy Vershyna presented the advanced developments of scientific and technological laboratories of NTP Polytechnik in the field of medicine, 3D printing, metal processing, etc.
Then negotiations on cooperation between BNTU and Turkey took place. Sergey Vasilyevich presented the university and gave examples of implemented cooperative educational programs with foreign universities.
During the discussion, the participants put forward proposals for future co-operation concerning academic exchange and scientific research. In conclusion, Gyuchlo Cem Yshik expressed his gratitude for the well-organized reception.
We thank the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Belarus for their visit and wish the Belarusian and Turkish sides productive cooperation.
