“At the feet of beloved mothers, garden flowers from paradise…”

«У ног любимых матерей цветы садов из рая…»

The day of March 8 is a special holiday, when spring, joyful and bright mood is felt everywhere both in Belarus and Uzbekistan. We congratulate our dear women, give flowers and smiles in honor of this wonderful holiday.

The event was attended by students from various universities of Uzbekistan from Tashkent and Navoi, Bukhakra and Namangan, as well as teachers and staff. The online event was hosted by specialists from our Institute Zvereva Anna and Volokhonovich Alexandra.

We remembered the history of this beautiful spring holiday and told many interesting facts about Women's Day. We traced the history of the celebration of the Day of March 8 in Uzbekistan. It is noteworthy that International Women's Day is also celebrated in this country as Mother's Day.

After that, we conducted a blitz questionnaire and discussed with the participants their impressions of the joint event.

In conclusion, we once again read the above-mentioned beautiful poem by Alisher Navoi, a fragment of which we would like to share with you:

At the feet of beloved mothers are the flowers of gardens from paradise,

As a loyal subject of love, live guarding them.

And if you want to enter heaven and find flowers yourself,

At the feet of your mother, be dust, without getting up.
