The Department has been providing psychological and pedagogical training for specialists since 1965. Currently, the Department of Psychology teaches academic disciplines for students of all faculties of the University that are part of the cycle of social and humanitarian, general professional and special disciplines ("Fundamentals of Psychology and Pedagogy" and "Psychology of Labor"; "Psychology", "Ethics and Psychology of Business Communication", "Public Speaking Techniques"), and also provides training in advanced higher education specialties ("Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher Education", "Engineering Psychology, Pedagogy and Team Management", "Productive Technologies of Scientific and Pedagogical Communication", "Social and Communicative Technologies in Professional Activity", "Psychological Trainings in the Practice of Physical Education", "Psychology of a Healthy Lifestyle"), and has a psychology laboratory. Since 2023, admission to the Master's program for training in the specialty 7-06-0111-01 "Scientific and pedagogical activity" (specialization "Psychology of educational environment management") has been underway.
