Students studying in the profiles receive high-quality training in the field of design and technological support for energy production. During the training, students receive training in the development, implementation and automation of technological, construction and energy processes, including modern methods of manufacturing and product control, using various automated design systems, which is systematically supplemented by a set of special educational disciplines with a psychological and pedagogical focus.
The basis for the opening of the specialty was the widespread introduction of vacuum and compressor technology and technology in various sectors of the national economy - from woodworking, vacuum packaging and refrigeration to technological equipment for microelectronics, nanotechnology and oil and gas transportation. The use of materials specific for vacuum and compressor technology, the growing level of complexity of equipment and automation of vacuum technological processes require highly qualified service personnel.
The industry of our country is developing in the direction of developing modern high technologies that make it possible to create high-tech, competitive products. In this regard, the need for highly qualified specialists in the field of vacuum technologies and equipment will increase. Advanced technological processes in instrument making, microelectronics, optical production and a number of other industries can only be implemented thanks to the advantages of modern vacuum and compressor equipment and technologies.
The activities of graduates cover the design, adjustment, operation and repair of vacuum and compressor equipment, as well as the development and implementation of technological processes in accordance with the functional purpose of this equipment.
Graduates of the specialty are sent to work in design organizations and design bureaus, industrial enterprises (PO Integral, NPO Planar, JSC Atlant, BelOMO), research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, enterprises - manufacturers of trade, chemical, food equipment.
Within the framework of this specialty, recruitment is carried out by correspondence form of education with a reduced period of study for graduates of secondary specialized educational institutions.
After graduating from the university, specialists are awarded the qualification "engineer".
