February 20, 2020, the reporting- elective conference of the trade union organization of students of the FTC was held at the Faculty of Transport Communications. In the reporting year, delegates of the trade union committee were informed about the activities of the trade union organization of students of the FTC by Kazimirchik A.A. Nowadays, the trade union organization of students of the FTC is consist of more than 800 members of the BPS students. Total number of freshmen in the trade union now considered as 99.63% (there are only two free places for the total number of university students), which indicates a high level of work of the trade union bureau and students confidence in the organization.
The active students of trade union bureau represents the legitimate interests of students of the faculty for the dean’s office and the university administration, organizes a variety of cultural and sporting events, makes the life of students bright and eventful. Also, the trade union bureau of students of the FTK pays material assistance on 12 grounds, provides up-to-date information on job openings for students in BNTU and give the information about rooms or apartments students can rent in the city of Minsk. Each member of the trade union organization has the right to receive applications for extension of the session, check-ins at the dormitories, can be provided with discounts on tuition fees.
The dean of the FTK Kravchenko Sergey Egorovich, the chairman of the trade union of employees of the FTK Kuznetsova A.A. and the main specialist of the secondary professional education of students of BNTU Astapenko N. were invited to the conference. Kravchenko Sergey Egorovich made a report to the students, he talked about the results of the previous session, shared plans for the nearest future and made a proposal for the trade union bureau of students of the FTC. At the reporting-elective conference, a new composition of the trade union bureau was elected. As a result of the conference, Sidorok D.A. was elected as deputy chairman of the trade union organization of students of the FTC.
In an address to the delegates, the newly elected deputy chairman of the trade union bureau of the FTK Sidorok D.A. expressed gratitude for the trust and informed everyone about the focus on the productive work of the trade union and trade union activists, which will result in a huge contribution to the social and cultural life of the faculty and the university as a whole.
