On March 12 - 13, on the basis of the Belarusian National Technical University, the X Republican contest of scientific and technical creativity of students “TekhnoIntellect” was held. The competition was organized and conducted by the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Monitoring Education.
The work of the youth forum showed that the Republican contest of scientific and technical creativity of students “TekhnoIntellect” is a multifaceted event that demonstrates the intellectual and creative capabilities of modern youth of the Republic of Belarus, showing a variety of scientific and technical interests and achievements in various fields of science and technology, architecture, and also the prospects of creating youth innovative projects, copyright programs within the framework of a single sphere of educational, scientific and technological the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2019, the Belarusian National Technical University organized and conducted by the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Monitoring of Education the V Open Students Olympiad “Step to Innovation”, an intellectual competition that is designed to revive students 'interest in the technical areas of science and technology, to promote students' professional orientation. About 60 participants from all regions of the Republic of Belarus and Minsk arrived to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad in BNTU.
In June 2019, the Polytechnic Summer School operated at the BNTU Polytechnic Sanatorium. This is a unique project for teenagers of grades 6-10, implemented by teachers of the department of humanitarian and creative disciplines, Lyceum of BNTU, employees of the vocational guidance department, preparatory department.
In 2019, the School of Young Architects and Designers enjoyed even greater popularity - practical courses for students in grades 6-10 who want to expand their horizons, understand the basics of architecture and design.
The task of the school of young architects and designers is to develop the child’s natural creative abilities, his associative, spatial and design thinking.
The method of creative education implemented at the School is a process of spatial modeling. It focuses not only and not so much on the development of architecture and the architectural method in their professional sense, as, first of all, on the development of students' creative potential, the general cultural method of creativity and the personal qualities of the creator.
On October 25, a protocol of intent on cooperation was signed between the State Lyceum “L. Alberti ”, Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy and the Lyceum of the Belarusian National Technical University. The protocol was attended by Honorary Consul Giuseppe Carboni, Director of the Lyceum “L.B. Alberti "prof. Roberto Bernardini, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bakhanovich A.G., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nikolaychik Yu.A., Director of the Institute of Higher Education and Public Administration Voronova NP, Director of the Lyceum of the Belarusian National Technical University Golyash G.O.
The activities of both parties within their powers will contribute to the bilateral development and deepening of methodological experience, the creation of a communication channel between educational institutions, the development of linguistic and cultural traditions.
On October 31 - November 1, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Continuing Education System" School - University "was held at BNTU. Innovation and Prospects ” organized by the Institute for Integrated Learning and Education Monitoring.
For the guests of the conference, an exhibition of the most significant educational, methodological and scientific developments of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Monitoring Education, a visit to the BNTU Museum was organized.
The result of the conference was the establishment of closer contacts with foreign universities, as well as with universities of the Republic of Belarus. A collection of articles of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Continuing Education System" School - University ". Innovation and Prospects” was published.
On November 5, the Belarusian National Technical University became the venue for the innovative project “Vacations at the BNTU”. The event was organized by the Department of Career Guidance of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Monitoring Education BNTU.
The event attracted students from educational institutions of the city of Minsk and the Minsk region (Dzerzhinsky, Logoisk, Minsk, Smolevichi and Cherven districts) to participate.
Lecture and practical classes allowed high school students to become students for one day, attend profile classes, which took place in the form of interactive workshops.
In 2019, the high efficiency of the participation of students of the BNTU lyceum in republican subject Olympiads, tournaments, and competitions was reached. Lyceum students won 84 diplomas and 15 meritorious reviews at intellectual competitions of various levels for the 2019 calendar year.
According to the results of the academic year 2018-2019, 16 students of the lyceum were awarded an incentive prize of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the social support of gifted pupils and students.
By the effectiveness of passing the CT among the institutions of general secondary education, the BNTU Lyceum takes third place in mathematics and fifth in physics.
During 2019, the Department of Career Guidance of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Monitoring of Education actively conducted individual and group career counseling tests of students with subsequent counseling.
Consultations are in great demand in the city of Minsk and beyond, both among high school students and among parents who note the effectiveness and efficiency of diagnostic techniques. The information obtained during testing contributes to the correct and informed choice of the professional sphere, helps to outline further career guidelines for future applicants.
