On Tuesday, June 9, the Belarusian State Technological University held the solemn awarding of the winners of the XXXII Republican Competition of Students' Research Papers. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. Students of the Belarusian National Technical University once again demonstrated a high level of scientific school, taking one of the leading positions among all universities in the country.
In order to congratulate and support the guys, the festive event, which brought together the best young scientists of the country, was visited by the Rector of BNTU Sergey Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Research at BNTU Ksenia Yakushenko and Head of the Department of Training of Scientific Personnel of the Highest Qualification of BNTU Irina Ustinovich.
The awards were presented by Alexander Bakhanovich, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Denis Kapsky, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, Vasily Gursky, Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Evgeny Zenchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology, and Sergey Kasperovich, Rector of BGTU.
The laureates received congratulations and were awarded diplomas and commemorative badges. The ceremony was complemented by an exhibition of the winners' scientific achievements and a vibrant concert program by the creative groups of BGTU.
Special congratulations were extended to the students whose works received the highest awards in the competition. Their research covers relevant areas: from labor economics and energy strategies to innovative purification technologies and blockchain.

The success of students is impossible without the mentoring of experienced teachers. At the solemn event, the best supervisors of scientific work among the faculty were awarded. Viktor Karpovich was awarded a certificate from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus on behalf of BNTU. His contribution to the preparation of the laureate work was highly appreciated by the Ministry.
Research and development is an integral part of the educational process at BNTU and is an essential component of the system for training highly qualified researchers. Creating a scientific foundation for postgraduate studies and successful dissertation defenses is one of the main objectives that the university successfully addresses.
