BNTU creative groups performed on the Loshitsky Park stage.

Творческие коллективы БНТУ выступили на сцене Лошицкого парка

Yesterday, June 6, the Belarusian National Technical University's Department of Culture held a concert at the Loshitsky Cultural and Historical Complex, titled "Time of the Young. In the Rhythm of New Ideas." The program was presented at the city youth festival "Formula of Success" as part of the "Minsk – Youth Capital" events.

The opening of this large-scale celebration was entrusted to the legendary People's Orchestra of Folk Instruments, which this year will celebrate its 80th anniversary. The sounds of the festive march echoed throughout the park even before the hosts took the stage.

Arina Kolesova and Dmitry Yurgevich reminded everyone that BNTU is the flagship of technical education in our country, and its vibrant cultural life has long been a hallmark of our alma mater.

After the hosts' greetings, the orchestra continued its performance. Under the direction of conductor Alexander Ivchenko, the musicians performed classical works by Georgy Sviridov and Eugen Doga, dynamic polkas by Johann Strauss, and well-known film scores.

Lively instrumental rhythms gave way to heartfelt lyrics. Daniil Bogdanov and Maria Krasovskaya, members of the KolLizey folk theater studio, delighted the audience with poetic lines. The atmosphere of warmth and national flavor was enhanced by the Kahanachka folk song ensemble, which delighted guests with Belarusian folk songs and compositions from the Pesnyary ensemble's repertoire.

The concert program also featured national choreography. The Druzhba dance ensemble performed "Belarusian Dance" and "Castle Mirages."

A true treat for brass music lovers was the performance of the BNTU folk brass band, conducted by Pavel Krivokhizha. The ensemble prepared a challenging pop and jazz program, which the audience greeted with thunderous applause.

The People's Choir, directed by Elena Klimova, also showcased their vocal mastery, performing complex polyphonic pieces. The highlight of the evening was the performance by the People's Violin Ensemble, directed by Olga Krivokhizha. This year, the renowned ensemble celebrated its 50th anniversary. At Loshitsky Park, the musicians masterfully performed their finest works, from Russian classics to international hits.

Student creativity is unimaginable without contemporary rhythms. The pop portion of the BNTU concert was vibrant and dynamic. Performing on stage were soloists from the "Vlyublennaya Dusha" vocal and pop studio – Alexandra Bobrovich, Nadezhda Kobyak, Elvira Khomich, and Maxim Chetverik – as well as members of the "Tango" ballroom dance studio. Alexandra Smal, soloist of the vocal and pop studio, and the dance group "Resonance" performed the song "Blue Land."

Arina Kolesova performed the hit "Choose a Miracle" with the FMMP dance group "SunRise." SaTrAP theater actors Daria Golyshko and Gleb Kvachenyuk added their creative touches to this dynamic show, complementing the numbers with emotional and expressive poetry.

At the end of the three-hour program, the vocal and pop studio soloists performed the song "Million Voices," bringing the artists together to thunderous applause from the audience.

After the vibrant finale, the festival organizers invited Natalia Penyaz, Head of the BNTU Department of Culture, to the stage. They thanked the BNTU ensembles for their outstanding performance and presented the university with an honorary diploma from the festival, wishing them continued success.
