Lessons from history and challenges of the present. A dialogue platform with Vadim Borovik was held at the BNTU

Уроки истории и вызовы настоящего. В БНТУ прошла диалоговая площадка с депутатом Мингорсовета

Today, on June 4, the dialogue platform "National Security. International Cooperation" was held at the Belarusian National Technical University with students and employees of the university. The speaker was Vadim Borovik, a deputy of the Minsk City Council of Deputies, a political analyst, and a lawyer. The event was held in the format of an open dialogue, where everyone could get an answer to any question they had.

During his speech, Vadim Borovik touched upon topics that are of concern to every citizen of Belarus today: national security, information ideology, economic independence, and historical memory.

The deputy emphasized that in today's world, the main battlefield is the minds of people. He paid special attention to the information and ideological component of national security.

A separate section of the speaker's speech focused on the topic of Belarusian statehood and historical identity. Vadim Borovik reminded the audience that our country has a thousand-year history, is a founding member of the United Nations, and makes a significant contribution to global culture and the economy.

— Belarus is a European country that did not receive its independence from anyone. The claims that someone else built the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic are incorrect," the deputy emphasized.

Vadim Borovik urged the participants to study the true history, avoid falling for provocations, and remember that external forces always have their own goals, such as capturing territories, economies, and resources.

Speaking about the socio-economic factor, Vadim Borovik noted that the most dangerous riots occur on economic grounds. This is why the state ensures the principle of social justice, as well as the availability of education and healthcare.

He also touched upon the topic of foreign trade and sanctions. At the same time, the deputy emphasized the importance of cooperation with China, as well as the need to preserve and develop technological sovereignty.

We would like to thank the deputy for his constructive dialogue with the students and employees of the university!
