"You don't just perform, you live it." A winner of a military-patriotic song competition discusses her impressions.

«Не просто исполняешь, а проживаешь». Лауреат конкурса военно-патриотической песни о своих впечатлениях

On the eve of Victory Day, the military-patriotic song contest "Memory of the Heart" was held at BNTU. The Instrument-Making Faculty was represented by Yuliana Rodimtseva, who managed to earn a 1st degree laureate diploma. We decided to ask her a few questions:

  • What emotions did you feel when you took the stage?

  • Honestly, I was a little nervous, but when I started singing, it became easier. I felt that this was important. After the performance, I was even surprised: how did I do it? But inside, it was warm and calm. As if I had coped not only with the song but with something bigger.

  • How high was the level of competition?

  • It was very high. All the participants perfectly conveyed the emotions embedded in their performances, but I managed to do it a little better.

  • Why do you think it's important to hold such events?

  • I believe such events are necessary. When you sing a song like that – not just perform it, but live through it – you understand: memory does not live on its own in textbooks. It needs to be brought to life. With voice, with heart, with a personal choice. As long as we remember, all heroes will live on.

  • Do you plan to participate in this contest in the future?

  • Yes, of course. It is a very interesting and useful experience, and most importantly, it gives me the feeling that I am paying tribute to memory and expressing my respect.

  • Thank you for your answers, and we wish you success in your future achievements!
