On May 12, 2026, a landmark meeting took place in Dormitory No. 16, uniting students of the Faculty of Engineering and Education around one of the most profound and important topics of our time. The event, entitled "Secrets of Family Happiness," transformed students' everyday leisure time into a cozy forum where everyone felt part of a large, friendly family.
For reference: "Secrets of Family Happiness" is an informational and educational event aimed at promoting traditional family values among young people. The program combines elements of psychological training, a discussion platform, and a creative exchange of experiences. The focus is not on dry theory, but on the practical aspects of building harmonious relationships, emotional intelligence, and a culture of mutual respect.
The meeting was led by educational psychologist Natalia Azarova, who served as the main moderator of the lecture and practical session. Her sensitive guidance and willingness to answer any questions helped the participants develop a conscious view of the culture of family relationships and personal responsibility in marriage.
The event began with a discussion of what "happiness" truly means. The students discussed whether family is merely a social institution or, above all, a spiritual unity. One of the most touching moments was the "Life Stories" section. The students shared stories about their families: their grandmothers' pies, their shared hikes, and how their parents overcame difficulties. This exchange of experiences demonstrated that every family has its own unique "recipe," but the common ingredients are always love and patience.
Then, the educational psychologist offered practical case studies. "How to constructively engage in conflict?" and "How to express support when a loved one is going through a difficult time?" – advice on these topics sparked keen interest, as they are applicable not only to future family life but also to current interactions with friends and roommates.
The meeting concluded with teambuilding exercises. Wordless comprehension games and collaborative creative problem-solving helped the students get to know each other better and feel a sense of team spirit.
"To be honest, I came here just to hang out, but I ended up being very impressed. We rarely talk about such things seriously, but here I realized that many of my fears about our future shared life are shared by the other students. I felt calmer and more clear about what I need to work on now," shared a second-year student.
The "Secrets of Family Happiness" event once again proved that student life isn't just lectures and exams, but also a period of deep inner growth. Discussing family values helps young people define their life goals and prepare to build a strong, reliable home base in the future.
The open dialogue format allowed participants to go beyond the usual educational process and focus on a confidential discussion of the topic. In today's fast-paced world, such meetings provide an important platform for reflecting on the values that underlie individual and social well-being. Understanding family psychology is also particularly important for future teachers and engineers studying at the faculty, as communication skills are a fundamental professional and life skill.
