Today, on April 29, students and the management of the Belarusian National Technical University supported the republican campaign "Les! Dabro! Paradak!". Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarization took part in the initiative. The delegation was led by the Rector of the Belarusian National Technical University, Sergey Kharitonchik, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Timur Matyushinets, and the Head of the Center for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs, Irina Gud.

Sergey Kharitonchik noted that such events not only improve the environmental situation, but also form a responsible attitude among young people towards their country.

 – This is a great event for the improvement of our country. We all need to contribute to make Belarus greener, more beautiful, and more pleasant for our guests. Planting forests replenishes our resources and gives students the opportunity to participate in the improvement of their country, to realize that we are creating our own country and making it more beautiful. This event brings together the workforce and students. It is a duty and an honor for every citizen to contribute to their homeland. Today we are working in a good mood, planting Christmas trees and believing that they will grow, provide oxygen, and we will live comfortably in an environmentally friendly country," said Sergey Kharitonchik.

Diana Razueva, a 2nd-year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Education, admitted that she would love to go to the landing again even after a week.

– The action "Forest! Dubro! Paradak!" is a great opportunity to show yourself and your kind heart. The impressions are very positive: we were lucky with the weather, the sun is shining, and it's a pleasure to work in such an atmosphere. I consider this very important, as we are citizens of our country who need to contribute to its well-being. As students, it's an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our unity.

As a result of the Polytechnic students' efforts, more than 2,000 young trees were planted.

I greatly appreciate such initiatives. It's crucial to restore the forest through our own efforts. The students are eager to participate. I like the fact that we've gathered as a team, and we can spend time together to help nature and socialize," said Yana Myslivets, a third-year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy.

We would like to thank the representatives of BNTU for their energy and hard work.  Together, we are creating a green and clean future.
