Today, on April 15, BNTU signed an agreement on cooperation in establishing the China-Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers with Nanjing University, Sinomach Company, and the Qixia High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee of Nanjing. The signing took place in the Great Stone Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
The solemn meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Zhang Wenchuan, Vice-rector of Nanjing University, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Zhou Zhihua, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of BNTU Yuri Nikolaichik, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone" Alexander Lebedyantsev, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Vocational Education Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Pochebyt, Deputy Director General of Sinomach Xing Kai, Deputy Chairman of the Administration of the Xianlin University Campus of Nanjing Wu Dan and invited guests from four sides.
Zhang Wenchuan addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
– It is an honor to be present at the signing ceremony of the agreement on the establishment of the China-Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers and to witness this important result of cooperation together with you. On behalf of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, I would like to express my sincere congratulations on the establishment of the Institute. The Chinese Embassy will continue to support the friendship between the two countries and provide active support for the establishment and development of the China-Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers, helping to achieve practical results, said Zhang Wenchuan.
The Belarusian National Technical University is confident that the signed agreement will serve as a solid foundation for long-term and fruitful cooperation between the two countries. The main goal of this partnership is to train engineers and technicians at a fundamentally new level: professionals with a broad international perspective, impeccable fundamental knowledge, and a strong ability to engage in intercultural dialogue.

Today, we are proud to announce the highest diplomatic status of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership between Belarus and China. This is a special relationship, cemented not only by mutual interests, but also by the personal friendship between our leaders, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. This partnership has stood the test of time and is currently demonstrating a unique development dynamic in all key areas, including education and science. We are establishing the China-Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers, which will undoubtedly mark a new milestone in the cooperation between our countries in the field of higher education and the training of highly qualified personnel. After the signing of the agreement, the parties exchanged memorable gifts. Also, the Deputy General Director of Sinomach, Xing Kai, on behalf of the company, presented a training robot to Yuri Nikolaychik for further training of students.
