"The main skill that we all need to develop." What exactly did BISI analysts talk about with Polytechnic students?

«Главный навык, который нам всем нужно развивать». О чем именно говорили аналитики БИСИ со студентами Политеха?

Today, March 18, a dialogue platform on the topic "The Future is in the Hands of Youth" was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. Speakers at the event included Evgeny Kharuk, an analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, and Anastasia Chernobai and Vladislav Narbin, members of the youth analytical community.

The event continued a series of informational and analytical meetings aimed at engaging young people in the socio-political life of the state. Participants discussed the country's development prospects.

"Our institute is a think tank. What is a think tank? It's a structure that studies everything that happens, finds reasons for why it happens, and develops proposals for what to do to improve it. We sit and analyze absolutely everything. We have no off-limits topics. We analyze the development of agriculture, digitalization, youth policy, and demography," said Evgeny Kharuk.

The audience was particularly interested in the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market. During the dialogue, participants sought to answer the question: will artificial intelligence completely replace young professionals or become their reliable assistant? Opinions were divided, but students and experts agreed that critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to make unconventional decisions remain key human strengths in the modern world.

During the event, they discussed not only the present but also the surprises the future may hold. Answering students' questions, Evgeny Kharuk shared his perspective on possible scenarios:

"We are currently witnessing the rapid development of digital technologies. For example, many have already heard of the Starlink satellite system. It is currently being actively tested, and it is already operational. Imagine: a phone without a SIM card or charger, and communication built right into your contact lenses. You can be anywhere in the world, get a network, and pay absolutely nothing. I am confident that in 25 years, this will be a reality for everyone. We are already moving in this direction." Therefore, the most important skill we all need to develop is the ability to think, analyze, and quickly adapt to change.

The meeting served as a platform for sharing experiences: the speakers answered questions from the audience and collected feedback through a survey.
