"We played football, drew." FES students visited a children's social shelter in Radoshkovichi

«Поиграли в футбол, порисовали». Активисты ФЭС посетили детский социальный приют в Радошковичах

Today, March 17, activists from the Faculty of Power Engineering, accompanied by Olga Kobyak, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Power Engineering, visited the children's social shelter, which operates at the Radoshkovich Secondary School No. 2, to offer warmth and attention to the residents.
The visit was part of the faculty's traditional charity event aimed at supporting children in difficult life situations. The students didn't arrive empty-handed: a collection of essential items, stationery, educational games, books, and sweets had been organized in advance. The students approached the matter thoroughly, as their goal was not simply to provide assistance, but to genuinely delight the children.
The guests were greeted in the shelter's cozy atmosphere by educators and its young residents. The FES activists prepared an entertainment program, after which they presented the children with gifts.
The FES students noted how important it is for the children, not so much material assistance, but simple face-to-face interaction.
"We came to support the kids, and they were very cheerful and energetic, supporting all our physical activities. The most important thing I want to say after the meeting is: always help people whenever possible," shared second-year FES student Ilya Peshko.

First-year FES student Victoria Sivoplyas noted that she had always been interested in volunteering.
"After enrolling at BNTU, I decided to try my hand at volunteering. I enjoyed the trip today. The kids there were very nice. We had a great time playing football with them, drawing, taking photos, and making many friends. I'm sure I'll be participating in such events again."
The administration of Radoshkovichskaya Secondary School No. 2 and the orphanage staff expressed their deep gratitude to the students and the Deputy Dean for their thoughtfulness and compassion.
Such initiatives have already become a good tradition for the Faculty of Power Engineering. The students plan to continue this initiative and bring joy to those who need it most.
