On Saturday, November 15, the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering hosted prospective applicants and their parents. This event was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of training and career prospects in the mining industry.
High school students from Minsk, Svetlogorsk and Zabolot village of Lyubansky district came to get acquainted with the faculty and students of the faculty. After visiting the academic buildings, laboratories, as well as the student dormitory, the guests learned about the real experience of studying and future employment from those who are already mastering mining and working at FМЕE.


The highlight of the event was a visit to the faculty by young researchers from the 6th grades of secondary school No. 71 in Minsk. The students conducted vivid chemical experiments with Natalia Krechko, a senior lecturer at the Department of Engineering Ecology, Kirill Galetsky, a student of mining engineering, visited the interdepartmental laboratory of potash production technology and machines, together with Elizaveta Korotkaya, an engineer at the Department of Engineering Ecology, and Alexander Denishchik, a student of mining Engineering on the BNTU campus.
The meetings and excursions held on this day were an excellent start for further communication.
