On October 30, 2025, ICF students visited the Minsk Metro Museum. The excursion was part of an extracurricular educational program aimed at broadening students' horizons and introducing them to the engineering achievements of Belarus.
During the visit, the students learned about the history of the Minsk Metro, its stages of development, technical features, and principles of operation. They were particularly interested in the drawings of future stations on the ring line, which provided them with a glimpse into the future of urban infrastructure. The students also visited the driver's cabin, where they saw how the train was controlled and learned about the mechanisms and equipment that ensure the safe and efficient operation of the metro. The tour guides provided detailed information about the ventilation systems, alarms, automatic traffic control, and other engineering solutions used in the metro.
Students asked questions, actively participated in the discussion, and shared their impressions. The tour helped them expand their understanding of their future field of work and strengthen the connection between their theoretical knowledge and real-world engineering projects.
