Adaptation and comfort for international students

Адаптация и комфорт. Иностранным слушателям рассказали об основных моментах жизни и обучения в Беларуси

On October 16, 2025, an organizational meeting was held for international listeners at the preparatory department of the Faculty of International Cooperation at BNTU. The meeting provided detailed information about the necessity of adhering to the rules for staying in the Republic of Belarus.

Key aspects regarding life and study in Belarus were discussed. The students were reminded of the importance of timely registration with migration services, which is crucial for legal residence in the country and obtaining necessary visa services. Attention was also drawn to the internal regulations concerning behavior on the university premises.

Special emphasis was placed on the rules of living in dormitories. The main norms regarding cohabitation, maintaining order, and responsibility for property preservation were outlined. Additionally, the rules of conduct in classes that contribute to a comfortable and productive learning atmosphere were discussed with the listeners.

The staff of the preparatory department also addressed safety issues, providing recommendations for ensuring personal safety and actions in emergency situations. The listeners received useful advice for adapting to life in a new country.

Active participation from the listeners in the discussion highlighted their interest in successful adaptation. This created an atmosphere of mutual assistance, where everyone received the necessary information and recommendations.

The meeting was an important step in integrating international listeners into the educational process and life in Belarus. The staff of the preparatory department emphasized that adherence to rules and norms is key to successful adaptation and comfortable residence in the country.
