From October 13 to 16, 2025, a delegation from Northeastern University is visiting the Belarusian National Technical University to participate in the China-Belarus University Association.
The delegation includes Jiang Yuyuan, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and head of the Party Committee Organization Department; Yang Jiangyu, deputy director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Automation; Li Jiannan, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office; and Zhao Yue, professor of the Faculty of Medicine and Biological Information Engineering.
As part of the visit program, a number of excursions and cultural events were organized for the delegation members.
Today, October 15, representatives of Northeast University visited the exhibition of the BNTU Science and Technology Park “Polytechnic,” where they familiarized themselves with the park's innovative developments in various fields.
Afterwards, negotiations took place, in which the interests of Polytechnic were represented by Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Timur Matyushinets, Director of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology Li Wenxue (on the Chinese side), and Vladimir Kleenkov (on the Belarusian side). The parties discussed issues related to the activities of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology, the current situation and development plans, further steps for opening the faculty, and the organization and conduct of a summer school for Northeast University students at the Belarusian National Technical University from November 16 to 27.
Tomorrow, representatives of Northeast University will visit the China-Belarus Industrial Park “Great Stone”.
