Today, October 7, negotiations with a delegation from the Shandong Maritime Professional Institute were held at the Belarusian National Technical University.
The Chinese institute was represented at the meeting by Deputy Director Ji Dandan, Assistant for University-Industry Cooperation Chang Yaqi, and Lecturer in the Faculty of Electromechanical Engineering Jiang Chunyan. The Belarusian side was represented by Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship (FMME) Alexey Danilchenko, Head of the Marketing Department Irina Shamardina, and Head of the Intercultural Professional Communication Department Larisa Solovieva.


At the beginning of the negotiations, Alexey Danilchenko described the student education process at FMME, including the specifics of each department. Furthermore, the dean emphasized to his Chinese colleagues the opportunities for international master's and doctoral students to study at the faculty.

Irina Shamardina discussed the faculty's research and educational activities, sharing that it boasts a highly qualified and responsive faculty. She also noted that training at the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship is focused on acquiring practical skills and is in line with modern methodologies.


Larisa Solovieva, in turn, presented the faculty's research activities, emphasizing the participation of students and staff in conferences, seminars, and other similar events.

Following the talks, representatives of the Shandong Marine Professional Institute visited an exhibition of innovative developments at the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. Alexey Aldoshin, a specialist in foreign economic activity at the technology park, showed them the exhibition. The guests were able to examine the company's latest innovative achievements.



In conclusion, the institute representatives thanked BNTU staff for the opportunity to see cutting-edge developments and expressed hope for further productive collaboration.

The delegation's stay at BNTU will last until October 11. The program includes lectures in English by delegation members and a visit to the joint venture of BelGee and Borisov Plant “Metallist”. The delegation's visit thus strengthens ties between the two countries and opens new horizons for cooperation between the Belarusian National Technical University and the Shandong Maritime Professional Institute.
