From September 24 to 26, 2025, an international futsal tournament, the INTERNATIONAL CUP BNTU 2025, was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. The competition featured 10 national teams from Zimbabwe, China, Libya, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Equatorial Guinea – over 70 athletes, who are foreign students of the Polytechnic University.
The chief referee of the tournament was Anton Lashuk, an international football category referee and senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education of the Sports and Technical Faculty

On Wednesday, September 24, the tournament officially opened, and the group stage matches also took place. The game was dynamic, with many exciting moments. Fans actively supported the teams until the final whistle.
The standout player of the first day was Ashyrov Gurbanmuhammetiz from the team "Turkmenistan 2".

On the second day of the competition, the athletes also gave their all on the field and demonstrated team spirit. Each team aimed to showcase their best skills in speed and tactics.
Based on the results of the second day, the best players were Linxi Zhou from the team "China" and Fazinbek Mashatnurov from the team "Turkmenistan 1". Moreover, the top three teams were determined: "Turkmenistan 1", "Africa 2", and "Tajikistan".

In the final, which took place today, four matches were played. The teams fought hard for first place and gave their all in the hall. Each player tried to score the decisive winning goal for their team.

The tournament final ended with the awarding of the participants and winners. The prize places among the football teams were distributed as follows:



The best forward of the tournament was Dovran Kulyshov. The title of best goalkeeper was awarded to Gurban Ovezov, and the best defender was chosen as Muhammad Rustamov.
