From September 9th to 10th, Bukhara, Uzbekistan, is celebrating the 95th anniversary of Bukhara State University (BukhSU). This university is a long-standing partner of the Belarusian National Technical University, collaborating on educational programs.
Ahead of the celebration, BNTU Rector Sergei Kharitonchik congratulated BukhSU Rector Obidjon Khamidov and the entire staff of the Uzbek university:
"Dear Obidjon Khafizovich! On behalf of the entire staff of the Belarusian National Technical University and myself, I congratulate you and the entire faculty, researchers, staff, and students of Bukhara State University on this significant date – the 95th anniversary of the university's founding!
Having trained thousands of highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Uzbekistan and other countries, your university is evolving with the times and rightfully ranks among the leading, modern, and dynamic educational institutions, operating in many important and promising areas that are in high demand in the modern world.
I am confident that the strong traditions established at your university, the unique scientific potential of your creative team, and the experience accumulated over the years will allow you to continue to successfully develop and achieve new heights in science and education.

Additionally, BNTU representatives participated in the celebration at BukhSU on September 9. The Polytechnic delegation included Dmitry Livansky, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, and Alexander Pekhota, Head of the Department of Heat, Gas Supply, and Ventilation.
The celebration program included exhibitions, performances, and speeches by distinguished guests. Dmitry Livansky also offered congratulations and presented Obidzhon Khafizovich with commemorative gifts from BNTU.
