Studying at Belarusian National Technical University goes beyond just attending classes and taking notes; it also involves tackling everyday issues like printing documents, buying medicine, grabbing a snack between classes, or simply unwinding after a busy day. Fortunately, the campus of Polytechnic is surrounded by a well-developed infrastructure that is perfectly suited to the rhythm of student life. Let’s explore what surrounds the student community at BNTU and how to make the most of this knowledge for your benefit.
Copy centers
In the previous article, we talked about the copy centers located on the campus of BNTU. Today, we’ll cover those that are nearby. So, you can also buy stationery, bind graphic works, or print term papers at reasonable prices here:
Some copy centers are open from early morning until evening, which is a huge plus during term paper season and tight deadlines.
Tip: Check what file formats are accepted and whether you can send them via Telegram or email. If you don’t have a flash drive on hand, this option can save your project.

The shops
Need to buy a pen, a snack, a gift for a friend, or a rare textbook? You can find everything within walking distance from BNTU:
We recommend not sticking to the same store all the time, but rather exploring new places and checking out nearby areas. This way, you'll learn to navigate faster.

The cafes
The basic minimum for most students is coffee from a café. Choose between Cofix or Hotfix Coffee — pick whichever is closer to you. Everything is at a fixed price, making it quick and convenient to grab on the go, especially if you're rushing to class but want to stay energized.

After classes, you crave something tasty, cozy, and affordable. For example, "Khinkalnya" is a great spot if you’re in the mood for something hearty and comforting. Their set lunches are under 20 BYN, perfect for feeling like you’re at a Georgian feast in the heart of Minsk.
If you want a homey meal, check out the "Vasilki" restaurant chain. They serve Belarusian cuisine in a cozy setting, giving you the feeling of visiting your grandma for lunch. The average bill is around 25 BYN.
You can also hang out with classmates at "DODO Pizza", and if you go on Tuesday, it’s twice as affordable.
Tip: Many places offer discounts with a student ID — don’t forget to ask when you’re there.

The pharmacies and clinics
If you feel unwell, you do not need to wait for it to go away, it is better to contact healthcare institutions on time. For example, to the medical center, which is located on the territory of the BNTU, or to the student polyclinic No. 33 – they know how to help. And everything you need – from a thermometer to prescription drugs – can be purchased at the nearest pharmacies. The addresses and operating hours of the institutions are shown in the table below.

Reboot
Studying is important, but rest is also a part of student life. There are places around BNTU where you can get distracted, recharge and just have a good time.:
Tip: gather with classmates and arrange mini-outings, it helps not only to relax, but also to rally. We advise fans of freebies to keep an eye on the posts of BNTU student organizations, which often offer free tickets to various events in the city.

The Polytechnic is surrounded by amenities that make student life easier and more interesting. The main thing is not to be afraid to explore the area, ask undergraduates, and save useful places on maps.
