The visit was dedicated to holding negotiations on mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of science and education.

From 26 to 28 August 2026, Novosibirsk in the Russian Federation hosted the 13th International Forum for Technological Development, Technoprom – 2026. Recognised as a key event in science, technology and innovation, this year's forum set a new record, drawing delegates from 76 Russian regions and 42 countries – the highest participation figures in its history. Attendees included representatives from research and innovation communities, the real economy, government bodies, and the education sector. Discussions centred on new opportunities for advancing both fundamental and applied research, as well as strengthening international and interregional cooperation. Over three days, dozens of venues hosted lively debates, expert discussions and the signing of numerous cooperation agreements. The high level of interest in the forum can be largely attributed to the economic and scientific potential of the Novosibirsk Region. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus showcased some 30 innovative developments. Its collective stand, organised by the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU), featured cutting edge projects from BNTU (including its Polytechnic Science and Technology Park), Belarusian State University, the Belarusian Russian University, Vitebsk State Technological University, and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

The parties discussed issues related to integrating BNTU’s scientific developments into GTL Group’s technological processes, as well as the possibilities for jointly implementing projects in the education market in both countries.

The visit resulted in the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a joint scientific laboratory "Laboratory of Electric and Autonomous Vehicles" with the Faculty of Automotive Engineering.

From July 21 to 24, 2026, the International Hospitality, Food and Beverage Industry Exhibition "FHI – Food & Hospitality Indonesia" took place in Jakarta, Indonesia. As part of the national pavilion under the "Made in Belarus" brand, Belarusian companies showcased their products at the event, which brought together over 700 exhibitors from approximately 40 countries. The official opening ceremony of the exposition was attended by Aleksandr Yakovchits, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus; Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Minister of Tourism of Indonesia; Roman Romanovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia; and Natalya Kurash, Director of the Exhibition Enterprise "Belinterexpo" at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The collective stand of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, organized by the Belarusian National Technical University, featured approximately 30 innovative developments from the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies, and the private unitary enterprise "Tender-Agro" – a resident of the state-run "Polytechnic" Science and Technology Park of BNTU.

From June 29 to July 2, 2026, a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Belarusian National Technical University on a working visit.

From 17 to 19 June 2026, Minsk's BELEXPO exhibition centre hosted the third International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security. Belarus – 2026".
