The body moves - the soul sings. The Cup of Six - 2025 was held at BNTU

From 19 to 23 May, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted one of the largest sporting events - the Six Cup 2025. This year, students from the Faculty of Transport Communications (FTK), Faculty of Construction (SF), Faculty of Energy Construction (FEC), Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics (FITR), Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering (FGDIE) and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (MSF) took part in the competition.

The programme of the event was intense, and all participants fully demonstrated their abilities at each of the tests.

Thus, the first day of the competition began with the grand opening and passing the obstacle course on the site near the dormitory No. 17. The obstacle course included many interesting stations and obstacles, which the participants successfully passed.

The next day was remembered by a mini-football match. There was an atmosphere of struggle on the ground near dormitory No. 16: everyone wanted to become a winner, but only two faculties - Transport Communications and Power Engineering - made it to the finals.

The third day of the Cup was no less active. A volleyball match was held in the Greco-Roman wrestling building. The spectators witnessed a very tense game, as the gaps between the teams were minimal throughout the match. As a result, athletes from MSF and FES reached the final.

The next competition was streetball on the ground near the dormitory No. 16. Streetball is one of the youngest competitions held in BNTU, but it did not prevent the Polytechnic athletes from succeeding in this sport. In this test FES and SF were able to make it to the final.

The final day of the Cup Six - 2025 included TRP norms and tug-of-war.

Today, 23 May, the final competitions for each sport were held, which became decisive in determining the winners. Thus, the best results were shown by:

streetball:

• first place - Faculty of Civil Engineering;
• second place - Faculty of Energy Construction;
• third place - Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics;

obstacle course:

• first place - Faculty of Transport Communications;
• second place - Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics;
• third place - Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering;

RLD standards:

• first place - Faculty of Transport Communications;
• second place - Faculty of Construction;
• third place - Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering;

tug-of-war:

• first place - Faculty of Civil Engineering;
• second place - Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics;
• third place - Faculty of Transport Communications;

volleyball:

• first place - Faculty of Power Engineering;
• second place - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering;
• third place - Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics;

mini-football:

• first place - Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics;
• second place - Faculty of Transport Communications;
• third place - Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering.

Finally, the absolute winners of the Cup of Six were:

• first place - Faculty of Transport Communications;
• second place - Faculty of Construction;
• third place - Faculty of Energy Construction.

In addition, the Faculty of Transport Communications received a special nomination ‘The Best Cheerleader’.
