Today, May 15, the final of the competition "Mr. BNTU - 2025" was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. We will tell you how the evening went in the assembly hall of the 11A academic building, and, of course, we will reveal the main intrigue of the project, but first things first.
If someone thinks that participation in the competition only means preparation for a creative competition, then we hasten to dispel this myth: the guys not only improved their musical and oratorical skills, but also participated in numerous activities prepared by the organizers. So, the misters went through team building, attended a master class in tennis, visited a trampoline center, and a couple of days ago the organizers invited the young people to a barbershop so that on the most exciting day they would feel their best.
Having skipped the midnight rehearsals and filming, let's move on to the most interesting part - the final. Today, viewers witnessed a real celebration of male talent, charisma and creativity. Although many came to root exclusively for their favorites, it was hard to resist the masculinity and nobility of each contestant.
"Mr. BNTU is style" - this was the slogan of the competition this year. The audience could see the truth of these words at the very beginning of the evening, because the concert program opened with a general defile of the finalists of the competition.
Next, the participants were in for the improvisation stage "Acquaintance". Young people had to answer one question from the hosts regarding their worldview, erudition or biography.
After another stylish defile, the audience was shown a video about how the intellectual stage went for the finalists, within the framework of which the misters answered questions testing their erudition. This, of course, eased the situation a little, after which came the moment of the most long-awaited and exciting test - the creative competition.
Although it is not so easy to surprise the sophisticated viewer of the Polytechnic, today the misters managed to do it. On stage, the guys performed dance, vocal and even instrumental acts, amazing everyone with their high level of performing skills.
When the competition rounds were over, the jury retired to decide who deserved the main title. By the way, the jury included:
During the consulting of the jury, the stage was filled with the sounds of familiar and beloved music, because first the soloist of the vocal and pop studio "Vlyublennaya Dusha" Polina Pashkevich performed for the audience, and later the cover band MYOCARD played, the members of which are students of the Polytechnic University. It should be noted that the performance was a debut for the guys, which undoubtedly went off with a bang, because the musicians were seen offstage with loud applause.
After the final defile of the misters, it was time to reveal the main intrigue of the evening. According to the results of the competition, the finalists were noted in the following nominations:
Returning to the old traditions of the competition, the organizers prepared a special nomination for the finalists "In everyone's heart". The Chairman of the CPO of the Faculty of Architecture Vladimir Alekhin and the Chairman of the CPO of the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogics Anastasia Ivanova took to the stage to present the award. This year, it was awarded to a student of the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogics Valery Nedbalsky.
Then the winner in the nomination "Mr. BNTU ONLINE - 2025" was announced. He was a student of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization Bogdan Igolnik.
The winner of the honorary title "Vice-Mr. BNTU - 2025" was a representative of the Faculty of Mining and Engineering Ecology Andrey Kurlyanchik, the special jury prize was given to Pavel Mardanyan from the Automobile and Tractor Faculty. The victory in the competition "Mr. BNTU - 2025" was taken by the Faculty of Transport Communications, namely its wonderful representative Timofey Antonovich.
