Today, on January 15, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted a reception for a delegation from Ferghana Polytechnic Institute (FerPI). The visit was aimed at discussing issues related to the prospects of cooperation.
First, the delegation visited the exhibition at the Polytechnic Science and Technology Park of BNTU. Georgy Vershina, General Director of the technopark, spoke about the achievements, technologies and developments of the enterprise and the university. Scientific models in the field of medicine became the focus of attention.
Further negotiations took place. The foreign delegation included Mirsoli Uzbekov, Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Sanzharbek Urmonov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Construction, and Zhavlonbek Madaminov, Associate Professor of the Department of Drawing Geometry and Engineering.
The interests of the Polytechnic were represented by Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation, Sergey Kovshar, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Evgeny Ponomarenko, Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Elena Sadovskaya, Head of the Department of Engineering Graphics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Andrey Ponasenko, Director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Interdisciplinary Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications.
During the discussion, representatives of Ferghana Polytechnic Institute expressed interest in further contacts and joint projects.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting of the delegation with students of joint educational programs of BNTU was also organized.
