On November 15, 2024, the Belarusian National Technical University held a meeting of foreign students with a representative of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.The event was attended by Olga Nikolaevna Solovyova, Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Citizens of the Minsk City Executive Committee, and employees of the Faculty of International Cooperation (ICF) headed by Deputy Dean Nikolay Vasilyevich Vishnyakov.
At the beginning of the meeting, Nikolay Vasilyevich made a welcoming speech, which highlighted in detail topical issues related to the educational process.
Next, Alexander Alexandrovich Sadovsky, Deputy Chief ICF, addressed the foreign students. He recalled the rules of accommodation and behavior in university dormitories, payment deadlines and opportunities for extracurricular activities.
Olga Nikolaevna informed foreign students about the conduct of the electoral campaign in the Republic of Belarus, held an explanatory conversation on the prevention of offenses and crimes.The head of the Department for Work with foreign citizens also informed about administrative and criminal offenses committed in the country recently by foreign students of Belarusian educational institutions, explained the main provisions and articles of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
In addition, Olga Nikolaevna reminded foreign students about the rules of crossing the border of Belarus, the regimes of stay of foreigners in the country, the procedure for registration of foreign citizens temporarily staying in Belarus.
International students received answers to all their questions.
