Today, on May 27, a centralized exam (CE) and centralized testing (CT) started across the country. The Belarusian National Technical University is one of the 144 entry points, in 40 of them in addition to passing the CE, the CT was also passed.
For reference: on the first day at BNTU, the CE and CT are held in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, the History of Belarus, World history (Modern Times), Geography and Social studies. The 2024 entrance campaign involves academic buildings No. 1, 6, 8 and 18. On the first day of the entrance tests at the country's leading technical university, the number of participants was 1956 (СE) and 630 (CT) people.
An hour before the start of the entrance tests, applicants have already begun to arrive at the BNTU campus. Having found themselves on the list, the guys went to the academic buildings and classrooms, where they took places and prepared to get tasks. Before completing the tasks directly, representatives of the organizational commission of the university informed applicants about the rules for passing entrance tests and the procedure for filling out answer forms.
At 11:00 a.m., the participants of the CE and CT began their main task – completing the tasks of the entrance tests, using all their knowledge. Thanks to the BNTU employees, applicants were provided with comfortable conditions for passing centralized exams and testing, and the safety of personal belongings was also ensured.
As part of the 2024 admission campaign, a visit was also organized to BNTU by Vyacheslav Danilovich, Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the House of Representatives on Education, Culture and Science. The guest visited the classrooms where the applicants passed the entrance tests, and also got acquainted with the conditions of the CE and CT at the BNTU.
While the students were working on their assignments, their attendants – teachers of general secondary education institutions were in specially designated waiting areas. Irina Vitalievna, a teacher-psychologist, told about the preparation of students for CE and CT.
– Most of the students I accompany are passing Math today. Throughout the year, the guys have been diligently preparing for the exams in order to show maximum results and get high scores today. Psychological training was also conducted with them, seminars, workshops, and training were held so that applicants would not experience stress and fear during the entrance tests. As an accompanying person, I can say that the delivery of CE and CT to BNTU is organized systematically, every detail is taken into account, which makes it possible to create a comfortable atmosphere for the guys.
At the end of the centralized examination and testing, the applicants shared their impressions.
– I started preparing hard for the centralized Math exam at the beginning of the 11th grade. This is not the easiest subject to take, but I am confident in my abilities and expect a high result. In my opinion, the CE has a number of advantages compared to the system of final exams of previous years. Conducting a CE creates easier conditions for preparing for core subjects for confident admission to the chosen university. As for me, I plan to enter BNTU, because I have been interested in technical specialties for a long time, – Maxim said.
