UAE Ambassador visited BNTU

Today, on January 29, the BNTU leadership met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah  at the Science and Technology Park of BNTU  “Polytechnic”.

The BNTU was attended by Rector Sergei  Kharytonchyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Vice-Rector for Research Ksenia Yakushenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Nikolay Vishnyakov.

Before discussing plans for cooperation, a tour of the exhibition hall of the Science and Technology Park of BNTU  “Polytechnic”  was conducted for the guest. Manager of Innovative entrepreneurship support at the Technopark, Maxim Zhurkevich spoke about the latest achievements of the park and demonstrated prototypes of developments that have been successfully implemented in production.

Then Sergei  Kharytonchyk made a presentation on the activities of the university, during which he spoke about a wide range of opportunities for cooperation and learning conditions for international students.

During the discussion of possible ways of cooperation, the Ambassador noted the high level of development of the Belarusian National Technical University and well-deserved positions in world rankings. Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah expressed high interest in the creation of joint educational programs between UAE universities and BNTU.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts and took a photo together.
