Top ten: significant achievements of BNTU in administrative and economic activities

Coziness and comfort are faithful assistants in a productive educational process, and timely renovation of the necessary premises helps not only maintain, but also improve the quality of learning and life of students. The administrative and economic service of BNTU deals with such issues. Today we will talk about the 10 most significant achievements in this field for 2023.

For reference: in total, in 2023, as part of the current renovation, work was carried out at 118 facilities, including educational buildings at 70 facilities, dormitories at 48 facilities.

Sport

In order to create conditions at the university for organizing training processes for students, holding sporting events and receiving foreign delegations, the current renovation of the wrestling room was carried out, including the replacement of windows in educational building No. 1.

Educational process

To create a favorable climate in the premises associated with the educational  process, carry out measures to save fuel and energy resources, ensure safety during the educational process, as well as the safety of the load-bearing structures of the building and ensure the drainage of wastewater from the walls, the following currunt repairs were carried out:

  • windows in the rooms of the 3rd and 4th floors of the academic building No. 1;
  • blind areas of the educational building No. 7;
  • premises No. 421, 423 of the educational building No. 1.

Scientific research

In order to create a favorable climate for the educational process and conduct scientific activities in the premises, carry out measures to save fuel and energy resources, ensure wastewater drainage from the walls of the laboratory and safety during the educational process, the following currunt repairs were carried out:

  • windows of laboratory No. 27 with the installation of a new blind area of the courtyard of the academic building No. 1;
  • windows of laboratory No. 41 of the academic building No. 1.

Safe accommodation

Conditions corresponding to sanitary standards were created in the residential premises of BNTU dormitories, accident-free operation of life support networks for residents was ensured, the safety of bearing structures of balconies was preserved, and the aesthetic perception of the building area was improved. For this purpose, the following currunt repairs were carried out:

  • kitchen rooms with replacement of pipelines for heating, hot and cold water supply, sewerage of dormitory No. 12;
  • internal water supply systems in residential blocks of wing "Б" and "В" of dormitory No. 17;
  • parts of the facade with the device of the canopies of the dormitory No. 15.

In addition, as part of the implementation of the instructions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the district administration to ensure the safety of citizens and improve the aesthetic perception of balconies, the serviceability of the balcony slabs and balcony railings of the dormitory building No. 6 was restored as part of the operation and ongoing repairs.
