From September 13 to 17, 2023, a delegation of the Belarusian National Technical University headed by Rector Sergei Kharitonchik is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China.
The delegation also included Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Construction Dmitry Livansky, Directors of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology Vladimir Kleenkov (from the Belarusian side) and Li Wenxue (from the Chinese side), and as well as other university employees.
The goals of the working visit are to expand cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions in priority areas of scientific and technical cooperation, increase competitiveness and improve the image of Belarusian education abroad, strengthen scientific and educational relations with North-Eastern University.
Today, September 14, representatives of BNTU are taking part in the International Conference on Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education and Scientific Research - 2023. The event is held under the leadership of the Ministry of Education of China and the Government of Liaoning Province and is dedicated to new generation information technologies, the production of high-tech equipment and new materials , as well as the intellectualization of the chemical industry and alternative energy sources.
Employees of Chinese and foreign universities, enterprises and research institutes were invited to participate in the conference. Representatives of BNTU also take an active part in the event and make presentations on current topics.
Reports were presented by the head of the research sector of advanced technologies of the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic" Alexander Korolev, the head of the department of "Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering" of the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology Valery Konstantinov, the professor of the department of "Technical Physics" of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics Eduard Zenkevich, Head of the Department of Standardization, Metrology and Information Systems of the Faculty of Instrumentation Pavel Serenkov, Professor of the Department of Design and Production of Instruments of the Faculty of Instrumentation Dmitry Stepanenko.
