March 15, 2023 at the International Cooperation Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University held a meeting of the International round table "Literary February: a month dedicated to the Belarusian poet and playwright V. I. Dunin-Martsinkevich, Belarusian writer and Literary critic M. I. Goretsky and Belarusian artist L. D. Shemelev.
The round table was organized by the Department of Belarusian and Russian languages as response to the spiritual and educational event, which was held on February 28, 2023 on the basis of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. For discussion, the participants of the round table were offered the following questions: the role of international cooperation in enrichment national literature; popularization of the Belarusian fine arts arts abroad; translation and classical literary heritage. Problematic field of the round table: 1. Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich: personality and creativity. 2. Theater and drama in the work of Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich. 3. Maxim Goretsky is the property of Belarus. 4. Creativity of Maxim Goretsky in the context of time. 5. Life path and creative biography of Leonid Shchemelev. 6. The role and place of the creative heritage of Leonid Shchemelev in development national school of Belarusian painting.
The round table was attended by a candidate of philological sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Belarusian and Russian Languages Budko I. V., Head of the Department of the State Scientific Institution "Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Candidate of Philological Sciences Laptenok E.N., candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Mantur E. E., candidate of philological sciences., Associate Professor Savitskaya I.V., Senior Lecturer Metelsky A.A.
With welcoming words to the participants and guests of the round table addressed Budko Irina Vladimirovna, head of the department "Belarusian and Russian languages”, Umarova Nigora Zainitdinova, head of the epartment "Uzbek language" of the Tashkent State Technical University.
The work of the round table began with the speech of the candidate philological sciences, Laptenok E. N. on the topic "Methods of transmission non-equivalent vocabulary in the translations of Maxim Goretsky.
Next speaker Budko I.V., the head of the Department of Belarusian and Russian languages represented the topic "Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich and his views on the purity of the Belarusian language.
Mitskevich K. M.,Senior Lecturer of the Department of Belarusian and Russian languages addressed the participants of the round table with a message on the topic “Yakub Kolas and the Goretsky Brothers.
Further, students of the 1st and 3rd courses made presentations on the stated topic. Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanization Grinevich Alexandra, Dovgalov Oleg, Saleichuk Maria, Sevenyuk Ekaterina, Petrovskaya Victoria, Shakhova Milena.
The reports of students 1st and 3rd courses of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Bayonov Mansur, Zarovsky Evgeny, Maxim Kovel, Anastasia Masyuk, Alina Chechura.
An active discussion was caused by the reports of 2nd and 3rd year students Automotive Faculty Krupkevich Natalia, Shurman Ekaterina, Lubnevsky Vladislav.
Informative for those present were the reports of 3rd year students mechanical engineering faculty Andrey Kuzmich, Alexey Shemchuk.
Participation in this event contributed to the disclosure by students their creative potential and enrichment with experience in the preparation scientific messages and reports.
The round table has turned into a kind of platform for establishing information exchange of researchers and further development international cooperation.
Exchange of experience of leading employees of the departments of Belarusian and Russian languages of BNTU and the Uzbek language of TSTU and guests of the round table will allow develop organizational and practical solutions to improve quality assisting students in studying the literary heritage of the Republic Belarus.
The event was held at a high professional level and in a warm friendly atmosphere. On behalf of the organizers of the round table, all the event organizers would like to express gratitude to all participants.
