From February 10 to February 15, 2020, a delegation of BNTU consisted of teachers of the departments of technical and general education disciplines, led by the head of the Center for the Development of Engineering Education and the organization of the educational process Snarsky Andrey Stanislavovich, held a visiting session for part-time students from the Republic of Uzbekistan. Khotomtseva Marina Albertovna, senior lecturer of the department "Mathematical methods in construction", and Shishko Nadezhda Igorevna, senior lecturer of the department "Roads" presented the Faculty of Transport Communications. The members of the delegation did a great preparatory work: they developed express courses based on the materials of the first and second semesters, which were subsequently provided to students, and exam tickets were drawn up especially carefully by the teachers. Thanks to the serious preliminary work done by the department of international marketing of educational services of the UMC and foreign economic activity and personally by A. S. Snarsky, the session was held quite good. Students attended classes, actively participated in it, answered questions, discussed them and diligently solved the tasks of examination tests.
The session was supported by the leadership of the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SamGASI). Members of the delegation visited the institute’s departments, shared their work experience with colleagues, met and conducted master classes with SamGASI students studying under the joint educational programs of BNTU - SamGASI (SOP BNTU - SamGASI). The guys showed great interest, asked questions about the activities of BNTU and the prospects for cooperation. Khotomtseva M.A. visited the department of higher mathematics, made report at the methodological seminar of the department, spoke about the development prospects of the department "Mathematical Methods in Construction", introduced the manuals of the department stored in the BNTU repository to the employees. An agreement with colleagues on the development of cooperation was reached. In particular, the head of the Department of “Higher Mathematics” Mamasoliev Kozokboy proposed to develop a special course of lectures for students enrolled in the joint educational program of BNTU - SamGASI. Shishko N.I. held a master class with 4 year students graduates of the specialty "Highways" SamGASI. The conversation was held in a friendly atmosphere, at the professional level, some issues about the specialty were discussed, students were interested in the introduction of CAPR in the educational process of BNTU, and were interested in job prospects in the chosen field.
Out-of-school hours, a rich excursion program was organized for teachers by the leadership of SamGASI. Members of the delegation visited the Registan Square ensemble, the Bibi Khanum Mosque, the Shahi Zinda memorial complex, the Ulugbek Observatory and Museum, the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the Khoja Donier Mausoleum.
