The second student scientific-practical conference: "My Small Homeland"

Вторая студенческая научно-практическая конференция «Моя малая Родина» подвела итоги своей работы

On November 28, 2019, a university-wide student scientific and practical conference was held on the topic: “My Small Motherland”, organized by the Department of the History of Belarusian Statehood, Department of Management Technologies and Humanitarian Studies. It was attended by 67 students and students of the Lyceum of BNTU. The conference was organized in two sections, in each of which the reports and speeches of the participants, accompanied by computer presentations, were evaluated by a jury of teachers of the department. The jury of both sections noted the high level of most of the submitted creative works. For active participation in the conference, originality, non-standard research approaches, 25 students of BNTU and students of the Lyceum of BNTU were awarded diplomas and gifts.

This is the second conference on this subject. Student conferences are dedicated to the years 2018 and 2019, announced in the Republic of Belarus as the years of a small homeland. The study of local lore is of great interest to students. After all, as the poet said:

What do we call homeland?
The house where we live
Thin-spike field
Our holidays and songs,
Warm evening outside the window.
What do we call homeland?
Everything in the heart is cherished.
