Tatiana Prots, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Engineering for Ideological and Educational Work, shared more information about the faculty.
– The educational programs are focused on an interdisciplinary approach that combines economic competencies with engineering ones, from evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects to analyzing technological markets and strategic management of innovative projects and enterprises.
This year, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Production will offer three new profiles in the Engineering Business specialty, which are relevant in the context of the transformation of the modern economy.
The first profile is Engineering of Production Processes, which focuses on training modern specialists who can combine technical and economic knowledge. Graduates will be competent in organizing and managing their own businesses, optimizing the production processes of companies using artificial intelligence technologies, and designing and constructing production processes, according to Tatiana Anatolyevna.
The second new profile is Marketing Engineering for Industrial Enterprises. According to the faculty, this is a synthesis of engineering and promotion strategies. Unlike a classical marketer, such a specialist does not just "draw advertising", but builds a sales system based on a deep understanding of the technical and technological processes of the enterprise.
Another new profile will be digital marketing at an industrial enterprise. These are future experts who are able to promote products, equipment, raw materials and technologies in an online environment. This is not just about social media, but also about working with databases and automation in the B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) environments.
In addition, we invite applicants to enroll in the already popular and in-demand specialties of "Economics and Management in the Industrial Enterprise" and "Engineering Economics": Innovative Projects in the Industrial Enterprise, Management of Design Projects in the Industrial Enterprise, and Organization of Foreign Economic Activity in the Enterprise," said Tatiana Anatolyevna.
For applicants who have certificates in the Russian or Belarusian language (CT or CE), mathematics (CT or CE), and physics (CT or CE), the faculty offers the following specialties: "Equipment and Technologies for Packaging Production, Trade, and Exhibitions and Advertising Facilities" (profile: Trade Equipment and Technologies) and "Information Systems and Technologies (in the Banking Sector)".
