On May 19, 2026, Branch of BNTU "Intersectoral Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel in Management and Development of Personnel" (IIASRP BNTU) prepared and held a seminar on "Organizing Preventive Work to Prevent Drunkenness and Alcoholism."
The seminar addressed:
- the legislative framework governing the procedure and content of measures aimed at eliminating violations of labor and social discipline related to drunkenness and alcoholism in organizations, public places, and everyday life, and their prevention;
- liability for this type of offense;
- the medical and social consequences of drunkenness and alcoholism, measures to prevent and overcome them;
- methodological recommendations for identifying individuals prone to alcohol and drug use and suicide.
The seminar also discussed the role of trade unions in organizing preventative work to prevent drunkenness in the workplace and the activities of public commissions for the prevention and control of drunkenness. Experiences in organizing work at the Ministry of Architecture and Construction enterprises were shared.


The seminar concluded with a tour of the training and simulation facilities of the IIASRP BNTU, where guests learned about innovative technologies and continuing education programs for construction professionals.
