A conference on welding technologies was held at IIASRP BNTU

Конференция, посвященная сварочным технологиям, прошла в МИПК и ПК БНТУ

On Thursday, April 23, the "Installers and Builders" training center of IIASRP BNTU hosted a conference entitled "New Metal Transfer Technologies in Welding Equipment for Modern Industry and Construction," dedicated to current issues in welding technology.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, IIASRP BNTU and JSC BELROSSPLAV.

The conference provided a platform for sharing experiences, discussing best practices, and developing effective solutions related to the use of welding equipment, so that each participant could confidently apply new welding technologies in their daily work.

Particular attention was paid to the application of welding technologies such as:

MIG PULSE - pulsed mode
DOUBLE PULSE - double pulse mode
HIGH SPEED PULSE - high-speed pulse
POWER FOCUS - focused arc
POWER ROOT - root pass formation
DEEP ARC - submerged arc
LOW SPATTER CONTROL - spatter-free welding
The event consisted of theoretical and practical parts.

The speakers introduced participants to new metal transfer technologies in welding equipment, explained their essence and practical applications, and provided up-to-date information on modern metal transfer technologies in welding for modern industry and construction.

Participants actively interacted and shared experiences.

Following the speakers' presentations, the conference participants moved on to the practical portion, which included a demonstration of welding processes.

The conference also included a thematic exhibition presenting the latest developments in welding equipment.

You can undergo welding training, retraining, and advanced training at the "Installers and Builders" training center of IIASRP BNTU (63 Sofya Kovalevskaya St., Minsk).

The training center provides training, retraining, and advanced training in the professions of "Manual Electric Welder," "Electric Gas Welder," "Gas Welder," and others. It also trains welders for re-certification and their certification for work at facilities supervised by the State Industrial Supervision Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus.

For those who want to gain skills in the safe operation of arc welding equipment but lack the relevant qualifications, a targeted course, "Safe Operation of Arc Welding Equipment," is available. Depending on the intended use of the purchased (or existing) welding machine, the course offers the opportunity to choose one of the following training tracks:

Argon-arc welding with a non-consumable tungsten electrode - TIG
Manual arc welding with a coated electrode - MMA
Semi-automatic welding - MIG/MAG
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a training certificate of the established format.
