Digitalization of Construction: IIASRP BNTU Completes Project Management Course in Microsoft Project

On May 29, 2026, IIASRP BNTU successfully completed training for another group of students in the advanced training program "Project Management in Construction Using Microsoft Project."

This intensive, one-week course (42 academic hours) was designed specifically for managers and specialists in the domestic construction industry seeking to improve the efficiency of investment project management using modern digital tools.

The course program was highly practical. Students mastered the full range of MS Project software:

• Creating a work breakdown structure and defining the scope of activities;
• Configuring process links and calendar and network planning;
• Estimating labor and material resource requirements, as well as calculating the cost and duration of work;
• Constructing Gantt charts, determining the critical path, and modeling various project development scenarios;
• Monitoring work progress, procurement control, risk management, and professional reporting.

Through a combination of lectures and hands-on work using real-world examples, participants gained theoretical knowledge and skills for creating modern, flexible construction project management plans based on optimizing deadlines and budgets, material and labor resources, and risk minimization.

Upon successful completion of the test, all participants received certificates of advanced training.
