Yesterday, April 23, the grand opening of the 22nd International Scientific and Practical Seminar "Global Economy and Business Administration" took place at AMKODOR – Holding Management Company.
The event was organized by Professor Alexey Danilchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Doctor of Economics, and Lyubov Grintsevich, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, and Associate Professor.
The high level of participation in the plenary session confirmed the importance of the topics discussed. Welcoming remarks were addressed by Alexey Kozlov, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus; Andrey Dyuzhev, Director of Research at AMKODOR – Holding Management Company and Head of the Industry Laboratory; and Irina Ustinovich, Associate Professor of the Business Administration Department at BNTU's Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics. Representing the scientific community were Denis Mukha, Director of the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; Aleksey Daineko, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research; and Roman Kondratenko, Head of the Department of Scientific and Technical Forecasting at the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for Science and Technology.
The seminar's working session was extremely comprehensive, with nine invited experts delivering detailed presentations. Global economic trends and industrial development priorities were covered by Doctor of Economics, Professor Stepan Polonik, and Associate Professor Elena Presnyakova, Head of the Center for Innovation and Investment Policy at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Candidate of Economics. Particular attention was paid to the training of modern specialists and the interaction of universities with enterprises. Diana Komar, Head of the Personnel Development and Accounting Department at INTEGRAL OJSC, and N.M. Lomonosov, Head of Department at the Polar State University, shared their experiences in this area. Natalia Torgashova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and Lyubov Grintsevich, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at BNTU, PhD in Economics, and Associate Professor, respectively, addressed specific engineering challenges, discussing the adaptation of internal combustion engines.
Vitaly Berezun, PhD in Engineering and Head of the Industry Laboratory at Minsk Motor Plant Holding Management Company, discussed specific engineering challenges, discussing the adaptation of internal combustion engines. Sergey Golyakevich, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Forest Machines, Roads, and Forest Industry Technologies at BSTU, and Andrey Dyuzhev, PhD in Engineering and Research Director of AMKODOR – Holding Management Company, and Head of the Industry Laboratory, presented a joint report on the use of neural networks in logging. Natalya Ponomareva, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Economics and Management of Innovative Projects in Industry, discussed issues of distribution network optimization.
Summing up the plenary session, Alexey Danilchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at BNTU, thanked the participants, emphasizing the high level of discussion and the value of the chosen platform for demonstrating the integration of science and industry.
Following this, the second part of the seminar moved to the premises of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at BNTU. Here, work was in full swing across five specialized sections, covering issues of technological security, innovation in the circular economy, digital trends, competency-based approaches to training, and technological solutions for industry.
Today, April 24, the seminar continued. The second day focused on information security in the banking, insurance, and financial sectors. In the context of the rapid digitalization of the economy, data protection is becoming a key factor in stability. Participants discussed advanced methods for countering cyber threats, the reliability of financial systems, and the training of specialized specialists capable of responding to modern digital challenges.
This concludes the two-day seminar. The results of the presented research will provide a solid foundation for the further integration of science and the real economy.
