“BNTU Spring – 2026” with PSF: a festival that united the hearts of students

«Весна БНТУ – 2026» с ПСФ: фестиваль, который объединил сердца студентов

On April 7, 2026, the long-awaited BNTU Spring gala concert was held at the Belarusian National Technical University, where the best performances in dance, song, instrumental music, and student comedy theater (STEM) were announced.

“BNTU Spring” is more than just a festival. It is an event that everyone looks forward to since autumn, dreams about, and stays after classes to rehearse for. The spring of 2026 became special, long-awaited, heartfelt, and truly our own.

The spring festival kicked off with Song Day. Representing the Instrumentation Engineering Faculty, Julianna Rodintseva performed a ballad based on Marina Tsvetaeva’s poem “My Fierce Grandmother Told Me.” Her performance became one of the most touching moments of the festival. Thanks to her memorable and soulful delivery, the faculty’s vocal team took 2nd place.

The second day was dedicated to STEM (Student Theater of Variety Miniatures). The faculty team won in three categories at once: they took 3rd place, as well as receiving diplomas for “Best Acting Ensemble” and “Best Stage Design.” Their sharp humor, seamless stage work, and relevant storyline left neither the audience nor the jury indifferent. The team proved that student comedy can be not only funny but also visually sophisticated.

The third day of the festival was devoted to instrumental music. The instrumental team presented a vibrant arrangement of the famous song “Harlequin.” The sound was rich and energetic, and Semen Kardash was named “Best Drummer” of BNTU Spring 2026, setting a professional standard.

But the most anticipated day of the entire BNTU Spring festival was Dance Day. Preparations for it were especially thorough, as dance numbers traditionally receive the warmest applause. The faculty’s dance team demonstrated an exceptionally high level of preparation, coordination, and a vivid performance, deservedly taking 1st place. The jury singled out Pavel Akulich, noting his flawless technique and stage charisma. Moreover, Pavel received the honorable nomination of “Dance Floor Star.”

The culmination of the festival was the announcement of the overall standings. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the dedication of each participant, and the strong support of the audience, the Instrumentation Engineering Faculty took an honorable 2nd place among all university faculties!

“BNTU Spring” is more than a festival. It is a celebration that showed how much effort, soul, and team spirit students pour into their creative work. Every award is the result of hundreds of hours of rehearsals, mutual support, and belief in their own vision.
