The 15th Republican TechnoIntellect Competition: Closing Ceremony

Today, March 20, the closing ceremony of the 15th Republican Scientific and Technical Creativity Competition for Young Students, "TechnoIntellect," took place at the Belarusian National Technical University.

The event was attended by BNTU Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Georgy Vershina, General Director of the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park, Natalia Afanasyeva, Director of the Institute for Integrated Forms of Learning and Education Monitoring, Inna Golovach, Head of the Center for Ideological and Educational Work at the Republican Institute of Higher Education, as well as students from schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, colleges, and their chaperones.

This year, students presented their ideas in 12 categories, covering areas such as energy, electronics, ecology, robotics, astronautics, information technology, and others. The projects were defended yesterday, March 19. Innovation, technical literacy, and the ability to defend one's point of view were the main evaluation criteria. And so, when all the points were tallied, the university assembly hall was filled with anticipation for the announcement of the competition results.

Following the results of the national competition, the jury determined the winners and runners-up in the individual competitions. All winners and runners-up were awarded first, second, and third-degree diplomas from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, valuable prizes from the Belarusian National Technical University, and gifts from partners – the Republican Unitary Telecommunications Enterprise Beltelecom, Minsk Automobile Plant, Patio-5th Element, and Slody Confectionery Factory. The competition results are as follows:

Section 1. Technical Design

Creative groups from the BNTU Department of Culture also performed for those present during the ceremony. The folk violin ensemble, the "Druzhba" dance ensemble, and soloists from the "Vlyublennaya Dusha" vocal and pop studio added a touch of solemnity to the occasion.

Summing up the competition, Sergey Kharitonchik noted that the participants are at the ideal age for taking their first serious steps in scientific endeavors. According to the rector, supporting talented young people with promising ideas is
